PAM 386

I can't tell you about the rep.

The rep is a DLCd aluminum case that has some purple color to. The movement is nothing like the gen but one the good side it's a very nice replication.

I've one, it's a very reliable replica, keeps time well with a 7750 movement.

Its a nice piece, IMO. The V1.1 is the version to get because it has the right weight (because of the aluminum base), improved datewheel and the color is in the black/purple/brown strata as per the gen. Movement is completely wrong, but who cares?

Lume is substandard, but the brown dial with the vintage markers is a nice change up. The DLC coating is pretty strong, but I still feel I have to baby it. When looking at QC pics, make sure you check the area around the screws in the lugs. Nine times out of ten, they are scratched to hell by the monkey putting them together.

Really? I thought the purple was way off compared to the gen (which isn't going to be made at this stage it seems).

Sorry but V1.1 is SS DLC coated not Aluminum. Wrong wieght but nowadays better replica close to the gen.

Concerning PAM 386 you have chosen one of the more complicated at this moment for a good selection, there are several version and each of them have pros and cons.

There are two sections for PAM 386. The replica made of SS DLC coated and the replica made of Aluminium DLC coated. Bear in mind that the gen is made of a different harder and lighter non metallic material called Composite.
