PAM 382 VSF ?

Hi guys... its been a while since I have been here because I haven't bought a watch for some time.... kind of low on funds.

Anyway.... I just dropped back in here a day or so ago and I was wondering about this factory VSF ?

Is that KW ?

Also..... I saw they make the Pam382 VSF .... is that a new movement only or have they improved on
the look of the rep as well ? I keep hoping someone will go back to making that fatter crown.

If there is a thread you can point me to that would be great.
I was looking at ALE's guide and i didn't see anything about the VSF version of the 382.... if i missed it... please give me a link.

Welcome back.

Okay, now for the answers.
1. KW = V6F = VSF + XF
2. New movement for the most part but since it is using a KW base, it should be fine.

You won't find it in the PAM Bible as it is only updated from time to time (I'd gladly do it but I don't have the power Hahaha).

Hey THANKS Mysterio.... I see that the crowns on the 382 are still skinny ! I wish they would fix that.
Some months ago...at the suggestion of another member who said he DID get a fatter crown from Toro.... i did email them about getting a fatter crown but
they said it was not available now.

So.... I am totally disappointed. lol
there is no choice but to wait for them to fix this issue.... if they ever do.

I have my KW Bronzo and I love it..... just need that crown to be right.

Anyway... thanks again. I saw those comparison pics to the Gen when i came back to the site.

Mysterio.... I just saw your response to my last post. you think these are the right sized crowns ?
I thought i saw this watch from a different angle and the crown looked thin.

I have not tried to purchase a crown but if the crown you get is slim, you probably can try to ask your TD to get you one. It just depends on availability.

Fat Panda is my TD but I have not asked him lately. Last time i did ( last year) he told me there were no fatter crowns than the skinny one i had.
i sent him this pic of the kind of crown on my watch.

is the crown on the Pam382 VSF that you posted thicker than this one in the pic ?

when I contacted Toro and sent them the picture asking if the one they could get me was thicker than this one.... they told me a crown thicker than that was not available.

thats why I was wondering if the crown on that VSF you posted was really a thicker one? or maybe its just the angle of the picture.
