Hi all,
My Pam 382 crown guard was broken. So I decide to send the watch back to Kuvarsit.
They said that it couldn't be repaired when they got it back from the factory.
Therefore, I have to buy a new crown guard from them.
When I got the watch back, the new crown guard was of a different color.
Very raw, very new, very pinkish. It was almost rose gold like.
So to solve the issue of having a different color crown guard, it was time for a restart of the patina.
SO HERE WE GO!!!
Before the lemon bath, I got my watchsmith to remove the movement just in case the watch isn’t waterproofed.
Out after the 1st 15mins in the lemon bath.
Then washing with toothpaste and brushing.
Out after the 2nd 15mins in the lemon bath,
After washing and brushing with toothpaste again.
Movement back in after greasing of the casket.
Back on the strap.
Consistent color throughout. Happy bronzo again.
LET THE AGING BEGIN!!!!!!!!!!!
