I wouldn't mess with a gen that way. Who knows, perhaps Panerai could release one in that configuration sometime in the future...

Why not buy both reps instead?

Hey, this is exactly what I want to do to my rep 372... Hands from 587 are so sexy and will turn the look of 372 to the next level. Yes, I won't do it to gen but why not to a rep???

You can call me crazy, but I'll do it on my gen 372. Keeping safe the actual hands will let me revert the watch any time I want ; ))

I didn't tried yet at the Panerai boutique, cause I'm sure they will not accept to do that

No idea how, but KW 587 has perfectly polished "gen-like" hands. even if watch itself is inaccurate.

still I think it's worth to try, the watch is based on 6497 so later you can sell parts as a donate without problems + plus the strap is better than typical rep average quality.
