I've been eyeing this particular piece ever since I saw a picture of it in a watch blog. Then Robert (PWC, bless his soul) came out with a rep, albeit a poor replication even down to the size (44mm).
Then while I was browsing Kuvarsit's website to check out what could be coming out after the KW PAM417 and KW PAM312, I came across this particular number.
A brand new replica of the PAM365 Equation of Time! I know it will never become a super rep due to the sheer complexity of the movement, but it's a nice fun watch at the asking price.

All the markings are there, mostly in the correct position if not proportion. The markers are a bit too thick compared to that on the gen. The LSML is sitting too low relative to the 6 o'clock marker and the datewheel is too sunken compared to the gen but I guess that's just because of the difference in movement.

This is where the factory showed some effort in copying the EoT. The previous rep only had a low end auto movement at the back. Here the factory copied most of the details of the wonderful caseback on the gen.
The other thing the factory did right on this rep is the size. The old rep was 44mm in size, which is nice for guys with smallish wrists like myself but totally inaccurate for the rep. The new replica is now 50mm like the gen. The only thing is that the material is still stainless steel not titanium so having the extra metal will mean it's going to be heavier than even the PAM127/217. You do have the choice of having a black dial SS (think of it as faux titanium  ), brown dialed SS or a black dialed PVD version.
There looks to be something that looks like a quick date adjust on the rep that's on the other side for the gen (also the slot looks different as it's a triangle on the gen and circular on the rep). Still on the fence if I will pull the trigger on it but anyway, these are just initial thoughts and encouraging that even lesser known models get improvements after a time.
Thanks for reading.
