Got notice from the post office yesterday and picked it up this morning.
I want to preface this by saying that Im not a super-duper Pam guy - I have a couple but I dont know them backwards and forwards. Also, Im usually not into simple watches, and with Pams I havent ever understood the fascination with the 111s and 005s with their relatively plain dials.
Having said all of that - this is a great watch. The black coating looks great - nice matte texture. The dial looks pristine, the crown guard lever (wrong term Im sure) is relatively firm. Honestly, the starkness of this type of watch IS what makes is great.
I havent received my Gunny strap yet, but it did come with a strap. It barely fits on my 8.5 inch wrists, but its gonna have to do until my Gunny comes in. Its just pretty stiff and the color reminds me of beef jerky.
Anyway, here are a few phone pics from work. Thanks again to Davidsen for supplying RWI with this watch for the birthday raffle - very generous considering this is such a fine watch. Also, thanks for RWI, the mods and admins for making this all happen, both the birthday bash and this forum.
