PAM 359 V3 with datewheel fix

G'day fellas.



So my QC pics for the PAM 359 have arrived.



Very happy with the watch in general.



One question though for the veterans here.From the pics, does it look like the Sapphire needs an AR job?



I have someone lined up if so.

Guess I'll know for sure when I see it in the metal.

Anyway, on your pics the AR doesn't seem very strong, but reviews of this wacth doesn't seem so AR weak:

I don't know why TT are calling it V4, AFAIK it is V3 !!

EDITED: as said by mysterio below V4 is V3 with datewheel fonts improved

Been waiting a while to get this due to the CNY celebrations. Just means I'll have to send it off for an AR as soon as it arrives which means more waiting. All good though.

This model ticks a lot of boxes for me personally. Polished case. Beautiful design and a different style face. Can't wait for her to arrive.

P.S. The whole Noob version took me by surprise. Don't think I ever saw that discussion here.

Should not even qualify for a point upgrade methinks. It's like someone bought a V2 datewheel and slapped it on the V3 watch. If they changed more than three major design features, maybe, just maybe, they could call it a V4. But then, the makers don't follow any fixed rules.

They can call it an improved V3, nothing more. I am more than happy to buy into, and more importantly actually buy that. Saves me the hassle of installing the updated datewheel.

Wonder if it's worth doing the Superlume as well on this?

I hear it's difficult to make the orange vintage colour shine really bright.

I like the V2 better. This one LOOKS like the bezel rim is too thick like V1. Dial numbers look too close to the rim because of it. I had the V1 and always liked the more gen like look of the V2. HOWEVER the crystals from this factory are like a mirror. MUST have a strong AR to make it presentable.

Save the AR, I reckon the watch looks bloody amazing to be honest.

These Reps are never going to be like Gen anyway being open case back and Auto so not too fussed.

As long as the fit and finish is good and the AR and Superlume is strong, I'll be more than happy. And I'm prepared to mod it so all good.

They have not the obligation to do it .
Threfore is a dealer deciision.
