Before posting I did search extensively for mention of the apparently diminuitive stature of "4" on the pam359 dial, and couldn't find anything--so my apologies if I somehow missed its mention, OR if it is simply an optical illusion (which I've convinced myself it is not)...OR if the Gen actually features the same dimensions (optical illusion or not)....or if I simply need to see an eye doctor.

Recently purchased a pre-owned 359, am not certain which factory but was denoted to be V2 (and so final picture is of the display back, which might reveal this) -- It seems to me the "4" is significantly smaller in stature (height) to the other numbers on the dial. Comparing with the '5' below it, the '2' directly above it and the '8' horizontally across from it--after far too much rumination, I came to this conclusion.

Having never seen a Gen, also curious if the Gen (and all reps) have a slightly different color dial text color vs. the ecru sandwich numerals' color?...or if the latest best (KW?) version has uniform ecru sandwich dial and text.

Grateful for any thoughts (or medical advice).

Not 100% sure I get your question. If you're asking what color is the gen print on dial vs numeral color, all I can tell you is I have a franken 359 with gen dial and hands. The print on the dial is ever so slightly lighter then the numerals, but not by a lot.
However I also recall reading that depending on which series you looked at, panerai lightened the print at some point on the dial, so yours may be fine.
Hope that helps answer your question.
