Pam 351 Quick Release

Hey everyone. I have a problem with the quick release on my 351. The strap pin will not go all the way in to lock the strap in place. The button seems to push but the pin will not go in far enough to lock it into place. Anyone else have a similar problem? I've heard of the pusher falling out and caps coming off, but not this.

I know about the spring bars at panatime as quick fix, but I prefer to try to fix it opposed to band aid.

I'm having an issue with the quick release also. Although my pin goes in fully, yet doesn't lock in place; also the pin can be pulled out without depressing the quick release button. Any known fixes for the quick release system?
