Hi there.

Just got my first two Pam reps from Sead. Can't fault the service, price or quality.

However, i am a little confused by the GMT function of the 320. I set the hand to the same as the hour hand (as i am in London), but it keeps slower time. Am i doing something wrong? Shouldn't it just shadow the hour hand if i set them both together?

Thanks in advance.

It is BST so shouldn't it be set one hour behind? Don't know why it is running slower than the hour hand. I would discuss this with Sead.

Doesn't the GMT hand keep a 24 cycle? By which I mean; it goes round the face at half the speed of the hour hand...

This matter is already explained in PAM GUIDE for PAM 320
Gen has GMT function of 12hrs. That means that GMT hand turns once every 12 hrs. and using the main markers of the dial
Unfortunately there are no reps movements with GMT of 12hrs. only of 24 hrs. and, therefore, GMT hand turns once every 24 hrs.in all reps. Half speed than main hours hand.
Read PAM GUIDE to see the complete explanation.

........or Google GMT watch. ;)

"A GMT function means that the watch has a second hour hand which completes one full rotation in 24 hours and a 24-hour index on the dial. Particularly useful for wearers who wish to track two time zones."

+1 I just noticed that. The 320 does not have GMT markers. It uses the 12 hr. dial spots. Something new to me.

Please note you are talking about the GEN PAM 320 with GMT 12hrs.

All reps either PAM 320 or another model or brand will have GMT 24hrs.
