Pam 312 A7750 vs ST2555

I recently purchased a KW Pam388 with a seagull movement. While I really enjoy the gen-like feel of the watch, the seagull movement is a major letdown from my personal experience. The second hand stutters quite noticeably and even skips badly. I am thinking of getting the 312 and wants to go with the a7750 this time. I was wondering the version fitted with an a7750 had a thicker case back than the one with an ST2555 like with the 388.

Maybe it's lemon. But mine is bad. :(
Can you please report when you get yours, though? Thanks.

I went through the same dilemma and ultimately went with the A7750 version. I don't believe there is any difference in case thickness (18mm). My second hand runs smooth and the watch works great.

Thanks for the info. Would you be able to snap a photo of the profile when you get a chance?

Come on guys !
Be serious. Are you really saying that the difference of beat 21.600 to 28.800 is very noticeable in a 5mm hand ???

I have just now in my hand my PAM 364 Noob fitted with 28800 A7750 and my PAM 569 KW with Seagull an only with the loupe I can notice some little differences in the second hand running and always not at all bothering.

Ale,

That's not what I said or implied. Mine stutters and skips in an unusual way. It leaps two seconds at once at times and it is quite noticeable even it is only 5mm. If mine was sweeping steadily at a lower beat, I wouldn't really care for the very same reason you mentioned. Having a bad experience with a certain thing, isn't it in human nature to look for another option? By the way, the watch died today and I only had it for a week..very frustrated..

The lumed is very brighter than pam 359. I more like 312 than 359.
