pam 307 rep on WE

Saw that Watcheden has a rep of a Pam 307. Now Im no Pam expert, but I can see that the WE model is a black dial and the gen is blue (unless there is a black gen I dont know about.)

Anyway I think it looks pretty cool just on its own merits. There is little description on the WE page, but the header says that it is a GMT. Im assuming the depth gauge hand is just acting as a GMT on this one, because aint no way its a depth gauge.

Anyone else like?

Actually I hope that the "depth gauge" is an adjustable, non-functioning hand that jst sits where you set it. That way it can be set to off and at least look SOMETHING like the gen.

The depth gauge on this rep is a GMT... If I were to get it, I would freeze the hand in the "off" position.
other issues include: crystal is made of mineral crystal. Case is made of improper material... Steel vs Ti. Every photo I've seen of this rep has shown horrible Lume application, it's no where near up to the standards of our other recent Pam reps.

It certainly is an interesting watch, shame the rep isn't better.

^ To be expected IMO of the "special" PAM's, but they already have the parts to make at least part of it more accurate...

Don't get me wrong, I think the Gen is a neat watch... A mechanical depth gauge that uses case back deformation to measure depth? Great feat of engineering in my book. Great design and great looking watch.... It's just the rep doesn't live up to the current expectations. I would have been all over this in 2006... 5 years later the bar has been moved.
This rep doesn't do the Gen any justice.

Also note incorrect size/spacing of markers on the bezel... I like the watch a lot, but the rep leaves a lot to be desired.

I think this is the main point here...the H-factory PAM's have moved the bar very high in just a short time.
