:wyliehelp:bought it 4-5 months ago...movement just stopped(21J Auto), wont go even after "shaken". Bought it form one of the dealers here. Mail them, no response.
I understand the risks of buying replicas and frankly, i just want some nice, reliable watch. real PAM, i cannot afford, but i like their designs and sizes 47mm/49mm,50mm.

Any ideas on which one of the PAM's would be available that any of you have a experience with that actually has a reliable movement? from a reliable reseller, who does not get closed after few months of operation?

let me know

Here's my advice.
Buy a pam with a 6497 movement. These are simple and easily serviced. If you get an asian one have it serviced and you should be good to go for years. Or, get an ETA 6497 installed by a watchsmith and you now have a solid watch that will last you as long as any gen with the same movement.
Another option if you want an automatic is to get a pam that can easily be upgraded to a swiss 7750. Pam243M comes to mind. It's expensive but much less compared to a gen.
This is what I have done and will be doing in the future. I too want a dependable watch. That is why I primarily buy super reps and try to swap out the movements when possible. The pam reference is your guide to super reps as well as the mods available.
By the way, five months is way past what any dealer should be expected to warranty in this business.
