Long time lurker, first time poster so please go easy on me.
After spending a few weeks at Christmas poring over ALE's excellent PAM guide, i decided that if I'm going to get another PAM rep then I want to get a super rep as I want the least number of flaws possible.
I decided on an H factory Pam 297 and made the purchase from a forum TD.
So far i am really happy with the watch, however, I am interested in your opinions as there are some anomalies in this watch.
First the good points:
1) Power reserve is 44.5 hours
2) Losing around 20sec per day which isnt too bad
3) Bracelet is very nice
4) Lume is pretty good
5) AR is also quite good
My concerns are as follows:
1) Cannon pinion is raised and shiny, not flush and brushed as in rep and gen pics I've seen online
2) Dial is more of a grey colour than jet black
3) The hands have lots of marks/fingerprints on them plus dust on the dial (hard to see in pics)
4) Cyclops needs to be looked at dead on to be able to clearly determine the date
Keep in mind, I am reviewing the watch based on the fact that it is a super rep so I am being more picky than normal.
I'm interested in your opinions, particularly owners of H Factory O series 297's, is my dial the wrong colour and is the cannon pinion different to yours.
Is it possible that mine is not an H Factory rep?
