I'm a Panerai noob that just purchased my first replica PAM 292 V6F 1:1 and I love it so far.

It has a 56 hour power reserve and it keeps pretty good time, approx. +5 seconds per day for the past month or so.

Was just wondering (and it may not be possible) if it's possible to install an Asian P3000 super clone
movement in lieu of the Asian 6497 one that is currently in there? A 56 hour power reserve is pretty cool but having one with a 7 day reserve would be awesome. If it is possible how much would something like that cost?

I plan on buying more PAM replicas as I have fallen in love with this one but I'm pretty ignorant when it comes
to the manual winding watches.

Anyway was just wondering, I figure more than one of you would know.

I've seen a PAM127 which normally uses the A6497 with a superclone P.3000 installed, so from a is it possible standpoint, it most likely is.

Forgive my ignorance but what kind of install would it be? Just a drop-in or would it require extensive rebuilding or something like that?

Sorry, I don't know the exact measurements of the s.clone movement and I never tried that. I guess it would be possible some way, but a fairly extensive mod which would include hands swapping or broaching and dial feet repositioning at least.

yeah, going to need quite extensive work to fit a P3000 clone movement into a case designed for the 6497.

Thanks for the reply guys. I will just do the research and just buy the first PAM with the P3000 super clone that moves my needle.
