Hello. I have been having trouble with my radiomir black seal since about 2013 when I bought it. The strap bars come loose and it is almost impossible to wear regularly. Do any of you know someone I could contact that would repair this watch?? I'm in the USA if there is anyone in the country that works on them. Thank you.

Have you thought of using a thread sealing product like loctite? Also you can replace the old screws with new ones that have a little rubber washer... I totally sympathise as have a similar problem and ended up changing the bars and screws and loctiting in the screws and then over tightening the screws and causing the case to bulge above the bars [emoji22]

Yes. I have done exactly that. Purchased new screws with washers and bars. I used loctite on the screws. Within about a week the bars were loose and the screws do not hold them in place. I hope their is a solution if this is a common problem.

Just a thought but are you sure that you are putting the bars in the right way up and far enough in? As once I use loctite the screws stay in tight and there is a real effort required to get them unscrewed.

Yes. Jim putting the bars in with the flat side touching the screw. Are there people who do watch repair like this on the forum?

Try this: take off strap and replace bars and screws without strap, tighten and watch to see if the bars twist up or down away from parallel? If they are not parallel then the flats don't engage with the screws properly and as the strap moves the bar twists loosening the screw... Let me know.

Same problem as I had so I contacted my dealer and he sent me a new set that had the flats ground in the right place.. You could try carefully filing a small flat where the screws are catching when the strap is in place. don't take off too much just enough to to let them grip.

Just for anyone out there with this problem, I purchased some roll pins at the hardware store. Then cut them down to be longer than the factory ferrules and installed them over the bars. This keeps the bars from rotating and is working well.
