Hey guys, I just received my first Radiomir, a 292. Sadly, the crown came unscrewed and I have not been able to screw it in, also, the black part seems to be loose. I can wind it and set the time. I took some pictures, maybe someone can help me figure out the issue and how to solve it. Thanks a lot!!

Had the same issue. You can glue it back in quite easy. Just as it is now (crown screwed in) put some superglue on the outertube and press the crown and tube into the ceramic case.

Actually the crown does not screw in. Is the outer tube supposed to be attached to the case or the crown? Sorry, I sound like a total noob, thats because I am lol

Looks like the threaded part of your tube sheared off. You will need a new tube/crown. This will not be easy to source. Or it might be possible to remove the threaded portion from the crown, then all you have to replace is the tube, which is still not easy to source. I seriously suggest selling the watch for parts.

Thanks for your help Grimlocktime! Very sad news for me :(

BTW, this was my watch I sold recently to MisterNicher. Never had any issue whatsoever, but I kept it mostly inside the box. Now I feel bummed.

Hi there MisterNicher. Looks like there was not enough glue on both the ceramic crown tube and the internal metal part where the crown is screws on. What you need to do is first to pull out the crown and stem as well as the crown tube assembly. At this point you can unscrew the threaded metal part of the crown tube from the crown and stem to separate them. Now you have three different parts. Then you need to apply carefully super glue on the ceramic part of the tube and clue it in its position. Don't put too much clue as it might a) overflow on the case and b) you might end up with the case stuck on your hands. if you do get some excess glue on the case though, you can carefully scrape it off with a blade when it is dry - you'll be amazed how scratch proof is the ceramic case. Then again, better not to use too much. Then, take the metal threaded part and apply superglue to the sides and the end of it and push it to glue in position. The idea is to ensure welding it onto the internal metal rim of the case. Basically that should do it - if you haven't already repaired it. In an older post of mine "292j Mod project" you can see the actual structure of all the integral parts and how to put them together. Good luck and hope, although late, that I helped.

Hi Kostas, thank you for such a great explanation and how to solve the issue. Unfortunately, since I couldn't find a solution before, I decided to sell the watch. I will make sure the new owner reads your post/thread so he can fix the problem. Thank you!
