who has the most authentic pam metal bracelet? or is there a way to get a gen? how much is the difference?

The rep pam bracelets are all the same mostly, and they don't look to bad.

As Hambone says, the rep bracelets are pretty decent - although a little hard to find these days. Time4Direct should be able to get you one at a reasonable price.

Gen bracelets are big money and may not fit properly (Panerai tend to sell 44mm models as either bracelet or strap versions - the bracelets do not fit the strap version of the watch without an aftermarket adaptor). Anyhow, if you've got that kinda dough, put it towards a gen watch.
