Looking for a 249 "California" type panerai... I'm not sure of the faults in the current 249 offerings as it seems the guide says:
"The gen Radiomir 47mm PAM 249 is a Special Edition of 1936 pieces in 2006.
PAM 249 is based in the vintage Panerai from 1936, “3646†model, with the striking "art deco" like California dial showing an unusual combination of Roman and Arabic numerals, it had blued steel hands, this vintage model had solid caseback and Dome Plexi crystal. The PAM 249 has Display caseback, but has the same Dome shaped Plexi type, and has a movement OP X instead of Rolex Cal 318 like the vintage
There are replicas PAM 232 from regular dealers and from DSN, they all are quite good replicas. "
This to me, I don't understand, is it meaning that the current 249 is a good rep, medium or bad, and that the 232 is a good? Or does it mean something else?
Question I have, is that for a california dial radiomir, am I good with a 249, or should I save my money and go with an hommage from getats or jackson at military watches?
What say you? Thanks!
