After reading so much about the hype of PAM 243M, i decided to pull the trigger and get one myself.
Cut it short :
3rd Sep : Placed my order and wait ..... no response from the TD... i decided to email them myself to check on the status.
3rd Oct : Received email telling me that 243M is out of stock was encouraged to choose another beautiful watch instead.
Just when i about to commit to JLC Navy Seals , i was informed on the availability of 243M.
30th Oct: QC Photo received. Accept immediately.
5th Nov : Item Shipped
9th Nov : Item Received in good condition
Can't wait to unwrap the parcel like a small kid.
I still recall owning a $50 PAM Submersible rep about 10 years ago.
However this is totally different level !
Removing the silicon protect revealing the bezel in all its glory :
The watch arrived on the day when i am supposed to go for a 650km road trip up to Cameron Highlands :
Pam 243M at the high altitude of 5000ft above Sea-level.
Bringining my PAM 243M out for a photoshoot with desert plantations.
To my nightmare, there was no memory in my DSLR !!! Thanks God for the Samsung Galaxy S2 with pretty decent quality shots !
Closer look at PAM 243M :
Its pretty much a perfect rep. Bezel is wonderful with correct 15 , 30 , 45 fonts.
Correct Date font and date magnification. The details on the dial was awesome.
The number 12 & 6 on the dial were imprinted with great workmanship without any jaggards.
Cannon Pinion polished. Correct LSML below number 6.
Singapore City View at the background.
Group Shot with my buddy's GEN PAM 441 Ceramica release in SIHH 2012
On the left is my GEN Ball Engineer Master II Aviator & Rolex Datejust 16014.
One the right will be 2 x PAM 127E
The rear of the 2 beautiful PAM.
PAM 441 - P9001 Calibre revealed under the smoked sapphire crystal glass
Wristshot of the PAM 441 Ceramica. Very rare piece of PAM in Singapore and worldwide.
Its mounted on a Kain Heritage thick strap with complimentary from the boutique.
PAM 441 Ceramica next to my PAM 127 on OEM Fiddy Strap.
My Gen BALL Aviator and Rolex Datejust 16014 which has been neglected since i have my PAM 243M and 127. Seriously, both the construction and finishing of PAM 243 and 127 are on par if not exceeds the BALL Aviator.
Lastly, my hornback gator strap arrived few days ago and mounted to my PAM 243M now.
Still can't get use to it though. I think the accordian strap suits it better. = P
Cheers.
