I've been researching Ale's fantastic reference guide and am ready place my next order and wanted advice on the PAM 243 vs. PAM 390. Because this will be my first PAM, I'm fine with either a dress or sports luxury. What's your opinion on either of them? Thanks for your help.

Was actually in a similar position as you not too long ago. Picked up a 390, but flipped it for a 243. Now have another 390 coming in

My vote is for the pam390. It's absolutely gorgeous. That being said, I think you'll be happy with either and will most likely end up with both.

I am going to presume that the question is for my post.
The PAM390 is every bit as good as the PAM243 in terms of replication, but if you're going to use it in either a dress or sporty setting, then the PAM390 would have an edge over the PAM243 in that it can do double duty just provide an appropriate strap. The PAM243 isn't as flexible in that regard (although short of a coat and tie affair, it could pass with a nice croc strap.

PAMs are like Pokemon. Get them all! :lol: But start with the 390 and then get the 243.
What an analogy!....a good one too.
