Hi guys:howdy:. It is my second post but I have been reading the forum for a long time. I just purchased my first PAM from PT and just got the QC pics and I need an opinion on a couple of spots I noticed. Also, am I supposed to get a night shot of the lume? Please if someone sees something I missed please let me know. Thank you!

IMO it appears that there is specks of dust and other things elsewhere in the photo, but I don't feel the areas you have indicated should be of too much concern. It is a rep made in china after all. Some dealers will provide a lume shot, but if it is a H or N factory PAM I wouldn't worry too much there either as those versions remain fairly consistent. Just my opinion.

Accept it as its a minor flaw and can be fix...remember your not buying a gen but a rep. For the lume unless it was advertise as superlumed then you might request a lume qc. Goodluck.

Thanks. I can see the dust and it could very well be the case. I am most concerned with the spot I indicated at the bottom half next to the "P" as when zoomed it appears to be spot on the dial itself

I understand it is China made rep and I know very well what the quality usually is on cheap Chinese products, after all here in the States over 90% of everything we buy is cheap Chinese product.

I was not sure if there should be a lume shot or not. Thanks.

Maybe you should too......

"Purpose of QC pic:

1) ensuring that you are getting the right watch
2) identifying any serious flaws in the item

You may post a QC pic if you have a specific question about a possible flaw that you have found, and want input on how common or acceptable it is."

What a serious flaw for one is may not be for another and vice versa.
Me being a total noob should not be a reason for hostility from other members.
Thank for the input anyway

Pictures being what they are, there is no way to tell if that is a mark on the dial or a smudge on the crystal. If you are really worried you could always ask your dealer, but it doesn't appear the same in every picture from my point of view. That tells me the dial is fine.

I really don't see any hostility towards you. Serious flaw is subjective of course and will vary from person to person but what does it mean to you? A speck of dust as what has been suggested? As what has been posted, you can request the dealer to retake the pictures and make sure that there is no other dust that may be construed as flaws.

If there is some that concerns you on the Qc pics then yes it's no problem posting and asking for other opinions, but tbh the flaws that you have highlighted can only really answered by your dealer, I see no hostility in the Ops post, chill out bud.
Flaw on the bezel will probably be dust, as for dial maybe it's something on the crystal just ask your dealer for another pic of it and ask them the question.

NEXT TIME I WILL CONSIDER TO GIVE AN INFRACTION TO THE MEMBER PUBLISHING QC PICS WITHOUT CONCRETE CONSULTS TO BE SOLVED BY THE MEMBERS INSTEAD OF BETWEEN THE BUYER AND THE DEALER
