Yesterday, after few days of fuss with post freaking express, finally they found my parcel-they claimed the parcel is not in the arrival list but post central (HQ) confirmed that it had arrive ages ago...so darn efficient, no wonder they're losing money. But today, finally my pam got to accompany me to work, 1st thing in the morning after waking up, i double check with the time and it's pretty impressive. my pam didn't died after 1 night and it's +/- within 10 seconds if my calculations are correct. in work, everyone notice the mean chunk of machine strapping on my 7" wrist and everyone (including some watch collecting colleague of mine) can't tell that i'm wearing a rep.
after detail inspecting, i was speechless, everything is perfect except for few flaws that i hate to point out,
1) the bezel could have a better finishing, the brushed stainless steel effect is kinda messy.
2) the 12,6 and mini seconds lume SUCKS (dont be fooled by my lume pictures, i'm using a very bright lens to snap this beast...luckily the rest is bright enough.
3) the CG is super loooooosssseee when i opened the box, but i've tighten it - problem solved
4) i after screwing the CG tight, i realize it's a bit off balanced. only ppl with eagle eyes could pin point it. or is this normal for this v2??
5) correct me if i'm wrong, i have a feeling that the crystal is somehow a little bit elevated from the bezel. again, is this normal for the gen n rep?
6) lastly, the rotor is quite noisy but i can live with it. Most of my gen watches has a noisy rotor - my tag heuer aquaracer/carrera chrono/ omega constellation/ and my oris divers.
apart from the above, it's a stunning watch. i think i might have to consider on giving to 1 of our trusted modders to give this beast a finishing touch.
