PAM 233 Datewheel swap

I've wanted to replace the white datewheel in my 233 since I bought it. I read that the datewheel from an ST2530 would fit into a PAM233. I took a chance and tore into my 233 to see if the swap would work.

Well... it worked. BTW, I took lots of pictures. Hopefully over the holiday I can post a tutorial on how to replace the datewheel (it was much harder than I expected)....

Does the GMT hand make a revolution once every 12 or 24 hrs?

some vendors are offering the 233 with date wheel fixed...trouble is, none have the nice cannonpin fix as yours. How did you do it? Looks fabulous!

To be honest, I didn't make any modifications to the canon pin. It came from Time4Direct that way. Do you think it looks alright? I was worried that it was still a little too sunken (but I'm no PAM expert).
