I've been wanting to buy a PAM 212 , but have always been put off by the poorly shaped CG's available on them ( even on the Ultimate versions). I've come across a dealer that has 3 different model 212's. Their cheapest one seems to have a correctly shaped CG. The only problem is it has the old 7750 low beat movement and appears to have an innacurate looking movement/incorrect rotor markings etc. It's the only 212 I've ever seen with a decent looking CG. Here's a pic of the 212 with the correct CG.

I've emailed several of the trusted dealers about ordering an ultimate 212 and possibly ordering a correct CG that obviously exists , but never received any replies.

Does anyone know where I can get one of these accurate CG's and would it even fit a 212 with new 7750 ?

It was a Chinese holiday so they are probably bogged down with emails. If they dont answer you in the next few days try them again :)

And dont order from that guy. Stick with the trusted dealers...

LOL. There's an Ultimate 212? Seriously that one doesn't look any different than any other.

I dont see the difference in the CG, what exactly is bothering you with the one from the dealers here?
Maybe someone with a 212 can post pics and you can see what really comes from a dealer (which may differ from what they put up on their sites).

Pam 212 correct cg

Here is a pic of both Pam 212 reps. The first has a terrible CG that looks nothing like the GEN.(it's cut off and stubby) The second has a good CG but a really innacurate movement. I'd just love to buy one of the ultimate 212's from a trusted dealer , along with one of these correct CG's. Still haven't heard back from any of the trusted dealers.

I recognize one of the pics. Completely different runs. It's at least two years old. Nature of the biz.

I have one of those "Ultimate" 212 from Sead, still haven't worn it as it just sits too high on my wrist.

I did a little research before buying it, unfortunately all the "Ultimate" models have the stubby crown guards, no idea why. The other differences included minor dial improvement (something about the sub-dials I think), better printing on the rotor and case back (supposedly more accurate), and a high beat A7750 movement.

EDIT: Oh and higher price, of course.
