pam212 has closest dial to the gen.. the new rep 253 number is to skinny and big and blue dial colour is off. the older 253 dial is off also but has nice smaller fatter dial close to gen... both look great.. cant really tell from distance.. but seing the skinny dial is still bugging me.. :lol: at least thats what i think.. other differs.. Dealers still playing with us.. making us keep buying and buying until they make the right one.
My suggestion... get both :lol: really... after I got the 253.. I kept thinking of getting the 212 instead. :wink:
the swiss movement... hmmm.. lovepanerai suggest me to get the new asian copy 7750 since he bought all version (did you see his collection -- lucky guy) and he told me that his swiss is off by 20 something minutes perday so I listen - get the asian copy and now mine.. its faster 3 sc perday but beware those may varied. I am happy with my 253 except those skinny number and off colour blue hand.. other than that..its perfect. they only made 500 pcs so not that many people can tell the different.. now 2 of my friend own the gen and i will not wear 253 hanging around them but 212 will pass as real. got it......
