Pam 212 Lemania vs Asia 7750

I would like some opinions on two versions of the Pam 212. I am leaning toward the lemania copy movement with the idea that it may be more reliable than the Asia 7750.

However, I like the Reg. TM on the cg of the A 7750 version. I have not seen the Reg. TM on the lemania version from our trusted dealers.

Opinions on the reliability of the two versions would be appreciated.

I would say strickly on asthetics, the lemania hand wind is just beautiful. It has a good reputation for being a work horse and mine has been a gem so far w not a problem. The bridge work is lovely and its a real beauty to watch tick.

the 7750 is also fine and works equally as good for me, but it doesnt have the same look. I wear the lemania 10-1 over the 7750 even though no one sees the display back.

Good luck!

On the Lemania version the "Tachymeter" on the dial is the correct size. It is to large on the 7750 version. On the other hand, a crown guard without the "Reg. T.M." is worse IMO.

Andrew has a version with the new 7750 (28,8 k).

I am about to order the 212 but have not been able to decide which one. I have heard the Lemania is very reliable. On the other hand then you get a hand wound movement on a contemporary pam and without the text on the cg. That does not feel good. I guess I will go for the new 7750 version.

I too am considering purchasing a 212, and I am heading toward a 7750.

The only real advantage of the 'Lemania' version is a more correct dial in that the minute markers are pointing outward rather than inward.
But you pay this with a manual movement, a too deep rehaut, and a twice uncorrect crown guard (uncorrect shape and missing reg tm engraving).

The Lemania version also has polished pushers (correct), but it is an easy fix on the 7750 version.

Frankly, I personally feel the rehaut and CG shape as a dead giveout on the Lemania version.

Just my 2c.
