That is a Swiss 7750, not asian 7750.

But still quite expensive imo.

Thinking of getting a 1950 Flyback as my first panerai, or the Power Reserve. Any recommendation on Dealer? Or Model?

It seems like unlik rolex/omega, Panerai doesnt look that nice using the ss bracelet. What does it normally come best with>?

heres teh deal, the swiss 212 has always been the most expensive, over 600 bucks, this is before the engraved rotor. they were always advertised as sapphire too. apprarently this was a symantics thing and a competition thing between the dealers .

anyways, so now we have this new engraved rotors version. and eddie stating that it is actually mineral crystal, as ALL other 212s before have been.
If you want it cheaper, josh is selling for 100 less, check his site

Just received the swiss 7750 decorated model from River at much less than Eddie( he's never cheap but good).

Not sure about the glass but it is one beautiful watch. Here is a phone pic of it.

Not only do you get the swiss 7750 (very expensive movement), but you also get the black register hands (the asian has chrome hands)... although this is an easy $20 fix from davidsen

Looking at the camera reflected on the case, it's not even got a polarising filter. I'd say that's AR coating.

happened a few months ago, see my post on trc, dont got time to explain again, basically pickedup the watch, at the time was work twice, never hit against anything, and the glass broke off, as u see. Josh was awesome, took this one back and put a new glass on it. explained that possibly pressures in freight caused it to break.

in regards to glass being sapphire as advertised or mineral as people seem to believe, i dont know anymore. im tired of that subject

tht broken piece did tho survive a stractch test, so go figure

Same thing happened to my DRSD. But I just crazy glued it back. I know crazy right. But didn't want to deal with sending the watch back and all that. Just wear it now when doing chores aroud the house.

I was talking about the sub register hands (the little ones) - yours look chrome (like mine)... the gens are the same colour as the minute/hour hands...
