I can't believe how comfortable it is! My first manual movement, and it's hard to stop staring through the glass back.

What size wrist do you have??? You wouldn't happen to have a 183 and want to do an on wrist comparison shot, would you?

want to send it to me so I can see what a 42mm look like on my wrist??? 8) 8)

very nice, Josh's/Andrew's pics of that piece do not do it justice.

Congrats

I really like that too. It will be asked so I will ask - how is the lume?

And does it take a 24 or 26mm strap? I am pretty sure I ask that over and over.

Nice pic. I second the comparison shots too - maybe with some other watches, if ya got em.

Isn't that a crackerjack pleasure, though?! Looking through a display back and seeing a nice movment in there. Bit like the glass over a Ferrari's engine bay :D

When I got my 127 I couldn't stop looking as well. And it's been a year and I still enjoy this aspect.

Enjoy, welcome to the club and wear it in good health :)

I love it! It's one of my favorite reps. I just sent off an Omega smp chrono that arrived dead a week ago, so this is a nice consolation. Here are some pics of the lume--it only looks that nice for a little bit. Overall the lume isn't that great, but for the time being I'm not too bothered by it. I ordered some Tritec C3 lume that I might work up the balls to try after some practice.

The watch takes a 24mm strap. I should get one for my 005 that's on the way, because I'm not a huge fan of the Pam rubber ones.

Enjoy!

This is one that is unfairly overlooked--wear it well!

Could you post a picture of it on your wrist with the movement side up?--Just kidding!

I have this rep too and have been wearing it all week on a business trip. It is very nice and one you certainly don't see other people wearing. The gen was produced is something like 125 units if I recall. The lume is somewhat weak...like most other reps you see. I asked one of our strap dealers about the size when I got the watch last fall. He said "technically" it is a 25mm--which nobody seems to make. The suggested default is 24mm. It fits just fine and looks good with a 24mm IMHO.

Some people don't like that it has no date wheel. I understand this, but have worn this watch while running out the door to the office and it literally takes seconds to wind, set the time and go, unlike some of those tempermental PAMs that only allow you to set the date with hands in certain positions etc. This one is very user friendly and lets you get it back up and running quickly if you are in a rush. Maybe I am the only one who experiences this, although some of our more "rushed"members might relate.

Good luck with it!

Very very nice! The 204 is a beautyiful watch, and it suits your wrist very well.

I saw a 214 for the first time at the AD yesterday, I really like it, although currently there is no rep available.

Awesome choice -- I absolutely love the 204!

For those a bit more knowledgeable with this rep, how does it stand against the gen (any glaring flaws)?
