Attached are pics from my recent build.

The dial was the starting point. I purchased it from Strodda. He custom lumed it. It looks great in person! You can look up his previous thread on the dial. By the quality and complexity of this dial, I would confidently say Strodda does excellent work!

The case and everything else came from DSN. This is my second order from him and everything was smooth. His shipping was unbelievable fast to the US. I would really like to get the case pressure tested. From my perception of the case it is probably waterproof but I don't want to risk it with a swiss movement and custom dial.

I had an extra new swiss 6497. It was perfect for the closed caseback. I changed the cannon pinion (correct height) and 4th wheel (no seconds pin). I polished the top of the cannon pinion but didn't flatten it out completely. Working on the swiss movement reminds me how much better the quality is than asian clone.

I know the crown guard pin and lug screws are not supposed to be coated. I really don't want to mess with the build anymore. Everything went together so smoothly and stress-free (for those who build understand what I mean) and am afraid to touch it for fear of creating issues.

He are the pics. Forgive me with the modern strap on a pre-v case. I have a new strap incoming. I have the hardest time not getting a reflection of the phone on the watch pics:

Thanks for sharing your PAM202A. Not sure about your trepidation in "modding" the crown guard pin and the lug screws to remove the coating considering everything else you've done to the watch. But it's your watch at the end of the day. :)

I agree, I should just remove the coating on the pin and screws. What do you think would be the best way to remove the coating?

Bravo! All this need is a nice dirk strap with elias buckle to complete the look.
IMO 202a represent the ultimate DNA of modern panerai.
