Just received from Ms. King a Pam 196 7753 with the new case.
Is there really a noticeable difference between the old case and new?
Please advise.

Beautiful.

Very nice. To me, the biggest difference is the larger date font and no large gap between the date wheel and back surface of the dial. But, I thought the subdials were supposed to be recessed?

How's the movement working? I asked EL for a 196 with Swiss, but says he has had too much troubles with it so he only offers the Asian model. I already changed my first Asian model because of extremely goofy movement.

I think you will find the latest 196 does have recessed dials. But nether the less a very nice watch and movement i want one.
