it was bonus time at work and after paying down some of the credit card debt I still have a couple hundred bucks laying around. I have searched for a couple of reviews of Rivers Pam 194 and I did see that people were pretty pleased with it especially for the money spent. The one thing I heard is the rubber strap is typical rep junk (not Rivers fault) so does anyone know what MM these straps are? are they 26 like the other 47mm Panerais? Anyone have any opinions on this watch? I bought my first rep from River and I am happy to make another purchase from him. Plus the more I see this watch the more it is calling out to me.

Thanks in advance

Pulled the trigger anyway on this one

I'm still curious to hear peoples opinions on this but for 149.00 I couldnt pass it up. This will go along nicely with the 45mm PO I picked up from WBK. I've been looking for a more casual watch, something to wear with my football and hockey jersesys and right now I am just digging the rubber straps.

I like mine a lot. The only thing I do not like is the loosey-goosey feel of the bezel--but understand that is common too.

I replaced the rubber strap with one of Elliot's bands--mainly because I need a fat-wrist length strap and not because I dislike the rubber one (although the rubber has no tubes--so if you swap you need to buy some of these in 46mm)

Hope that helps?

it's a 26mm at the lugs and that tapers to 24mm (I believe).

It's a big boy!

I bought the 47mm Marina Militare from River and still love it. Just threw a new strap on it and looks better than ever

Nice pics!! Does the rubber strap not use tubes like the Leather straps? I definitely want to keep this on rubber and i figuered i would grab one right away. This way I'll have the watch and strap around the same time. Nothing makes me crazier than having a watch I cant wear.

no tubes in the rubber strap--need to buy tubes if you want to use with another strap--although some guys I know don't use the tubes anyway :)
