PAM 187 - Crystal help - What to do and how??

Hi guys

got this 187 from Trevor, I love it but the Crystal seems dull. Allmost like its got overspray on it making it cloudy.

would this just be a crap AR coating?

my question is.. can I buy a replacement crystal with a decent AR applied to it? what kind of AR would be close to genuine?

sorry for all the q's but im pretty new to all this. I deffo need to rectify this as looking face on, the dial is really cloudy looking.

also how hard is it to DIY replace the crystal? im assuming caseback off. movement out and then press the crystal out... what about the bezel though?

i'm not sure if that does have an AR coating applied to it.
if you wanna have AR applied to it than someone like FineDD is worth Pm'ing.
He's in Germany just so you know

If you haven't tried it already, no harm just giving it a good wipe (with polishing cloth, like the one they use at the watch dealers, or maybe the stuff used to wipe spectacle lenses). it may not be anything more than just oil (from fingers, etc).

I know this sounds stupid - but is it possible the protective film is still on the crystal? I got a rep and it had a pretty stuck protective film on it. Please forgive me for suggesting this. JTB

Think I will get the crystal AR'd properly. Not too keen on taking it out myself though!
