PAM 186 Arktos GMT - pics!

I snapped up one of Tony's (asian7750.com) "crazy sale" PAM186s for $99 - it arrived yesterday. I kind of expected a fairly average PAM, even although it had a 7750 movement - I was wrong, it's a cracker!


When I opened the package the watch was not running but, just like the wife, a good slap got it going! :lol: Then I realised how nice it was - very well finished, lovely brushed bezel and case, clear (or no) AR, immaculate dial and lovely caseback (even although it is apparently the wrong one!). And the lume is surprisingly good - I almost thought it was superlume at first but although it's even and responsive, I suspect longevity might be lacking. All in all, it's a full-on, high quality PAM that should sell for over $200!


It came on a very nice rubber strap and deployant but I took that off immediately and put on a spare 24/24mm strap that I had lying around with brushed buckle BUT this is temprorary because I have a custom strap on route from Snpr9696!

I was talking to Tony the other day and he's going to pull this from crazy sale early because people are complaining about his response times, and the orders on this watch are clogging the system, so-to-speak... (we should probably remember this next time we see someone having a whinge!) He did also mention though, that he'd have more watches for crazy sale soon!

In any case, yours looks awesome!

@ MadButcher - that's interesting about your caseback! I think your's must be the correct one since it referes to the "Arktos Expedition". Doesn't bother me much but I guess I'd rather have the correct caseback if I had the choice!

Del: I wouldnt realise that our casebacks are different if you didnt mention that yours is wrong, so I checked my QC pictures to see whether mine is wrong too. Yours is from PAM North Pole I guess, but who cares - it is only caseback

co-axial: same here, triangle shipping, via UK, also hope it will arrive before Christmas, but I ordered later than you - after first stock out. Cant even sleep looking forward to have it on my wrist. I wanted to use shipping costs better so ordered also PAM187 and TAG Carrera Limited F1 Titanium case / Carbon fibre dial, so it is even worse as there are more beauties in the same box as the Arktos:

I feel your pain bro! I'm excitedly waiting on 14 watches from Tony **chews finger nails** including a Hublot Skeleton Tourbillon!!! :-D

And nice choice on the Tag! I had one a while back and I have to tell you, although it has it's flaws it is GORGEOUS and will nett you lots compliments! One of my favorite reps of all time!

this is the correct caseback, i have the "ultimate" version which comes with this.
