That website does not allowlinking. I assume it is the $398 183g.
If everything else is equal; case, saphire crystal, same dial, hands, same engraved bridges, the asian has a swan neck regulator and the difference is just the movement then I say buy the asian.

The asian 6497 is generally regarded as a good movement. It has the correct 21600vph, vs the swiss 6497-1 18000vph. But to the naked eye the vph difference is not noticeable. If the asian is serviced it should last a long time.

Both movements use asian bridges, the engraved parts with PANERAI. I have seen the quality of the engravings vary. I would ask for a close up shot of them to compare. What you really want is some engravings that look like these;

That is a shot from a 183e from another trusted dealer, DSN. Those are the best engravings I have seen on a rep. Not sure if he still makes 183s with those bridges. hhmm that also looks like a H serial case. I would ask for updated pics.

That's a swiss movement, it also has the incorrect Novodiac shock system, little flower shaped brass spring on the jewel at the balance wheel, but I would take the wrong little shock over poor engravings.

Be aware that most watches, including the 183g $398 one you linked would require a relume to be closer to authenticity.
____________
tl;dr go asian. spend what you save on a relume.

Your link is broken, so I can't comment on that watch specifically. If the only difference is the movement, however, I would go with the Asian and save the extra $$$.

Thanks for the info guys.

Yes, the one I was referring to is the $398 Swiss Unitas PAM 183G. At least from the pics, the engravings on that one are pretty close to gen. I looked at the Asian 6497 movement version and the engravings on that one look way off. If they use the same engraved bridges then maybe the pics are just off? Are Lay's pictures usually pretty reliable?

I sent Davidsen an email yesterday to inquire if they had a 183G available. Waiting to hear from them.
