PAM 183 Panerai Radiomir Black Seal
Hey guys. I have this rep PAM 183 that I got online.
It says Radiomir and Panerai on the top and Black Seal on the bottom.
Is this right? I see some like this and some that say Radiomir and Black Seal at the top and Panerai at the bottom

The black seal above the 6 was only in the G series 183 which makes it more coveted than the subsequent 183. However the movement bridge engravings on your watch is not accurate to the g series 183 movement.

I tried to search but can't find out what movement bridge engravings are. Does everything else look ok though? The text in that arrangement is ok and the green numbers aren't weird?

Yes, pretty weird. It doesn't look like a sandwich dial too, but maybe it's the pic.

Btw, the most cost effective decision to buy a PAM is following these steps:
1. Read ALE's PAM guide to acquire information on the model you're after
2. Browse the websites of the dealers to see what are the prices
3. Send an email to your dealer of choice asking for stock availability. All dealers can source the same watches.
4. Send payment
5. Wait :)

I hate to tell you but it looks like a cheap cartel, Canal St watch. the OP text on those bridges are stickers. Hope you didn't pay much.

Dial and movement does not match (as others pointed that out already), the dial itself looks terrible (should be sandwich dial...). If you paid more than usd100 for this, you have been "robbed".

READ ALE'S PAM GUIDE!!!!!! Its a sticky thread here, I do not know how people can miss it
Ask, and you shall receive;)

Could you tell us the posts you have asked for help and without reply in RWI PAM Section??
Many people, members and guests, are visiting constantly and every day RWI PAM Section to get info. You can see that at the bottom of the board, where are indicated all current users of every RWI Section.
Anyway you must do by yourself some homework, nobody can make your complete job in this hobby.

ALE

BTW: Sorry to say your rep has no value, it is a cheap and very low grade replica. Better start again. Forget it

Dear Hobo
I have been reading all your posts, mainly from your introduction thread:
http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=174633&p=1760435#post-1760435
Below I'am repeating in QUOTE above mentioned posts, where you were asking for TDs and advices to select a replica and you got all precise first replies.
Some members, myself include, recommended you read PAM GUIDE, where you could see even the links to TDs to make the purchase without mistakes.
What do you really want ?? Maybe, we take your hand and visit directly the dealer??

Hey there everybody.
Hobo here from the USA.
Not new to reps but new to this forum.
Lots of neat stuff here like DIY mods etc.
All of my reps I've purchased through various sellers on aliexpress.

I can't exactly figure out how people are buying from the TD's here.
How do you place an order? How do you select which TD you want to use? Can anyone recommend?
Are any of the TD's on aliexpress or anything like that?
Lastly, any recommendations on sourcing good rep handbags? I've had zero luck on aliexpress and the like finding any quality rep handbags for the lady.

Thanks a bunch! :)

Welcome from New York Hobo
Check out our Trusted dealer section
http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=6&tabid=56
Just send them a e-mail with a pic of the watch you want.
Some have websites.
As for handbags, they are here too.

Welcome from Sweden

Welcome Hobo,

You have found a great place. No more risky business with aliexpress for you. The trusted dealers here are all trusted for a reason. Plus you have the forums support should anything go awry.
Many of the favorite brands here have their own sub sections. check them out and choose a watch first. Then poke arround and decide which dealer you want to work with. Each dealer is different and there are positives and negatives with each of them (Cost, time frame, payment method, ease of communication etc. All if not most of the dealers can get you the same exact model that you are looking for. all of them have direct connections to the makers that put these watches together. So once you have selected your model - send a pic to the dealer of your choosing, or even to a few dealers to see what they come back to you with.

Welcome to a great place! Enjoy!!!

Any advice on how to decide which TD sellers to buy from here? You just find out what their website is and order from the website? Or find their user name and PM them? Thanks a bunch

Hi andwelcome to the forum. Ckeck out some 3 TD that have websites and check what You want, than You may e-mail them. Best luck and wish You lots of fun around here.

Hi friend
Welcome to RWI from Spain
I hope to see you soon in PAM Section (Panerai watches)

To get info about PAM replicas read:
"Reference PAM REVIEW-GUIDE" - Replica Search, Identification, Evaluation & Selection

Welcome to RWI. I would look around, look at each of the TD's subfora then read reviews. There are even awards given each year to the "best trusted dealer" taken from a forum vote. I have personally had transactions with 5 TD's here on the forum and all have gone without a hitch. Enjoy the forum!

Therefore you were perfectly informed and your questions get the correct answers
Next time be more careful accusing people here about not to help members who need it
Really bothered by this matter

You had in PAM GUIDE even the reply to your question about BLACK SEAL inscription.

PAM183-deficopiar.jpg

EVALUATION: (*) FIRST CLASS REP medium level (H-series Noob, other makers and DSN) ***** PLEASE READ BELOW WARNING NOTE*****
EVALUATION: (*) FIRST CLASS REP medium level (H maker O-series)

The PAM 183 is very similar to the Radiomir “Base” PAM 210 introduced in 2005 but with seconds@9 sub-dial and the inscription Black Seal in the dial.
PAM G-series year 2004 saw (finally!) the introduction of “Historic” Radiomir models by the launching of the PAM 183. Aimed squarely at the enthusiast and collector, they were comparatively aggressively priced.
The gen PAM 183 is a Radiomir Black Seal, it has a base sandwich black dial in a cushion shaped Radiomir SS case 45mm, with detachable wire lugs with, Display caseback and movement Panerai OP XI calibre, a modified ETA 6497/2, it is manual winding by a onion shaped crown which has OP logo engraved.
In 2005 H-series it happens a small tweak to the design of the Black Seal, in that the word “Black Seal” moves from below the center of the watch to above the center. And the brand Panerai goes to below the center. There is also a change in decoration of movement, it changes from old PANERAI-PANERAI to modern Côtes de Geneve.
Therefore all PAM 183 from H-series onwards should have the words Radiomir-Black Seal above the center and the brand Panerai below the center and vice versa. The new movement has Côtes de Geneve decoration.
There are replicas from the regular dealers and from DSN, they all are First Class reps medium level of 2005 H-series, despite some flaws concerning lume and case shape.
WARNING: We have received in September 2012 some serious claims (from chris9) about the replica H-series from Puretime with all modds. Poor quality and bad or missing modds.. It is not a definitive downgrading just a WARNING !! Please bear in mind. I will inform when we have more info. Just be careful

April 2013- there are new replicas PAM 183 G-series with Côtes de Geneve movement but, be careful, wrong dial with "Black Seal" above the center. We cannot evaluate these replicas as First Class due to this flaw on the dial

September 2013- H maker introduces a PAM183 O-series with better lume and crystal.
Inscriptions on dial are not creamy, but almost white, and under some lighting conditions a bit greenish. Lume is very good and with greenish colour like gen under light and in darkness. You can see pics and information about thios rep in a review by chris9 here:

We can consider this H maker version O-series as First Class rep of medium level

Thanks, very helpful.
Looks like it's good to me.
I will research the pam guides further.
Before seeing your post, I also visited the panerai website for this watch, which was helpful too

Just check the caseback, the series of the watch should be engraved at one corner. If it says O, then that's what you got.
