Wait for the latest 177 from the H factory to be in stock, it's great out of the box. You may want to keep an eye out for an engraved 111J movement to replace (high beat vs low beat).

I'm not a PAM expert but I think the roller ball crown was a running change, you could of gotten a gen with either depending on how low your serial number is.

The 18000vph I had in mine stopped working shortly after I got the watch. The keyless works messed itself up all on its own. Fixed the movement, but put in a 21600vph in anyway.
The high beat I found to be much quieter than the low beat when inside the Ti case. I don't find the ticking so annoying now.

A 111J movement would be a little nicer looking than this one.

Personally, I would not do any mods to the 177. The crown spacing issue is such a small deal. And why swap out the movement? The replacement movement might look a touch closer to gen, but it still won't look like a gen, and will not fool any hard core risti. If your movement goes bad, sure, replace it with a better one, but until then, why waste your money?
