PAM 177 from N or H Factory

First of all: really nice forum!
I´ve already bought 3 watches and looking for my first PAM now.
I really like the TI style, so which one should I go for the 177 from H or N factory?

I'm looking into getting the 177 as my first rep and have realised the Noob 177N is out of stock. In asking around, I received this response and am curious what everyone thinks about this?

"177.. Noob has stopped making.. Cos theirs is completely wrong …They do it using a 111 casework profile which is completely wrong . EVeryone at the forums knows that .. and condemns it .. they phased out after the first run knowing its bad ..

For 177 .. the best made is PN177N01 and 2 (H factory). this is using a genuine 177 to make.. the finer casework profiles are exact .. "

I haven't found the review or forum posts that mention such criticism with the Noob version though?!

OMG!! again the same !!

Talking about sandwich dials and inscriptions no comments, people know about the Noob quality.

Try to get a Noob N-series and you will get the best option so far

There is a new batch of PAM177(176?) from Noob available. No improvements, but a new batch. Sora (ShineWatch) can source it.

Yes indeed H maker is a very good option maybe at 85-90% of the Noob quality.
But it is no needed to say Noob is a crap. I think this is really damaging for the dealer saying it and for H maker.They lose credibility

I just ordered a new updated noob 177 P series. The N series was out of stock so they could update it to the current P series I believe. Try your TD again and request the P series.

Sure, here are my QC. I am thinking they just updated the series to "P" but I'm not too sure, I tried to order a noob 177 a few weeks ago and my dealer told me they were out of stock and a new batch would be out soon with some improvements and then I received these QC photos which I accepted

What is strange is that I emailed about 8 dealers to ask about the Noob N series and everyone responded with "out of stock"... No one has this P series or mentioned it was coming. Is this odd?


P.S. I had a bit of a noob fail... I thought that the minute I posted on a thread, I would automatically subscribe and get email notification... hence I missed all this discussion until I went back now :/

As far as I can see there are no changes, just a new batch still with Fat crown, the same wrong Noob lever. Just maybe an improved bevelled of crystal.

Noob change to P-series with the same quality and features than N-series. No news

Anyway H maker is a very good option. No worries about that

Yes. I've been doing lots of reading over the past couple of months... Big thanks to you ALE and many others on the forum! It's been a fun experience falling into this world of reps. This is my first purchase, and you're right... the H fac is still an excellent rep. I guess I am simply amazed at the depth of the reviews and can get so caught up with the information provided... I need to remember to step back and enjoy wearing the variety of watches that are on offer

If I decide I like the Titanium Luminor I do want to get a gen crown, but what gen crown do I hunt for? Any manual wind luminor gen crown will fit? Where is the best place to source a gen crown?
