PAM 1305 rolled in

Finally received my PAM1305 and took it for a dive right away
Without being a pro, I think ZF did a nice job on this one. Case and dial look great, The movement as well. Only thing that looks not 100% right is the crown and crownguard lever, I think. The lever should have a bit more space between the case. And the crown itself look a bit too slim.
But let´s see what you think

Yes, I think I need one of these. It looks great. My only hesitation is the polished bezel edge not being big enough but it’s not too bad I guess. Good catch mate. I’m surprised we haven’t seen more of these around.

Yeah, me too actually. The 305 was very popular and a lot of people seem to have it. But the new 1305 seems noone cares about it

The rotor is pretty loud. But not really noticeable in normal use. Just if shaking hand you can hear it

I don't remember the PAM305 being very popular. It had such a plain look and it had the inaccurate movement when it first came out. Unfortunately, it had to compete with the PAM569, PAM364 and PAM285, all three of which had closed casebacks and were classified as super reps.Not to mention the PAM389 and PAM371 which were almost the same as the PAM305 but had more interesting features such as the ceramic bezel insert (and closed caseback) for the PAM389 and the blue dial with blue highlights for the PAM371. That popularity curse unfortunately continued with the PAM1305. Not that I need any more submersibles, but I would be looking at buying other models before I would look at them.

I always liked the simple style of the 312 and 1312 now. although I heard that they are less popular than other subs. Matter of taste. The blue small second and the 2 lume colors gives the new 1312 a more modern look. For me the best Sub. Next to the 382. But the 382 is a bit "too much" to wear everyday.

It's not a matter of taste as I said 3 months ago on this very same thread. The PAM305 had the unfortunate luck of being released at the same time as super reps and more interesting submersibles. Had it been the only submersible released in a span of maybe 3 months, it might have enjoyed a bit more popularity.

Looks great!! How is the weight? Is it light like the GEN titanium?

Oh. I never had a gen 1305 in my hands. But I think the weight should be like the gen. The titanium definitely makes the watch lighter than steel or bronze subs
