PAM 128 advice

PAM 128 advice (closed)

Always on the lookout for a new PAM. I wondering if any of you PAM experts have an opinion on both this PAM watch and the dealer. I'm nervous about the snap in back, every rep I've ever purchased had a screw in back per the gen. Any advice here would be really appreciated.

First off, that is not a PAM128 (the website calls it a PA128), that's a PAM193. A website that can't even distinguish what its products are cannot be a good one. Second, that site is not a TD on here (nor on the other rep forums), so I'd stay away from that site as far as I can.

You can get the PAM193 (Depth Gauge submersible) from Angus or from another TD. Sample link:

By the way, the back of the PAM193 is a screwback, same as your standard PAM.

Well, it wasn't really called a PAM128. The site lists it as PA128, probably a numeric designation.
