This is what I am wondering as well. But don't the oem crystals have differing distortion as well? Meaning not each one with the perfect distortion setup?

I've read on another forum.Some ppl bought gen 127 when its first release also said about distortion on the crystals as well.Some of them even couldn't stand with distortion and had to sell it at the end.

OK guys, there is a reason why parts that use to sell for over $1000 just a few years ago are now starting at $399. There is not much of a difference between the WSO, rep and gen. It all depends on luck, some of the latest rep crystals are perfect but there are very few of those. The WSO could be perfect but you might need to send it back for an exchange several times before you get the perfect one. But for the price of $150 it is worth the hassle if you have a big problem with distortion, but as I always say they all have distortions in one way or another even the gen. save your money and buy another watch with it!!

Sold on the WSO. 127 should be here in a few days and then it is off to Marlins!

And again not all rep 127s need to have the crystal changed it is dependent on the buyer's view of distortion and everyone's view is different. I will say again even the gen has distortion:deadhorse:

Looks awesome! Is that the wso or the rep crystal? That is the look I would like from the crystal on mine. I know once this is modded, this is definitely a keeper for me. Have an oem nubuck on the way in as well as I love the look of the nubuck straps. Says 27 on the strap, so I know that is usually for a radiomir, but hopefully it will fit the 127.

Thanks guys I have his 127E, 111N, 217H, 113N, new builds coming is the 318L switching to the plain finished ETA movement same as gen!

Yes,I'm wondering that too if gen crystal will fit in with noob 127 case.Because WSO crystal fit in with noob 127 case,and it doesn't come with that ridge like gen one.
Fortunately I'm wearing my Vac modded 127 today...
I can vouch for the Latest Noob 127E Crystal with all the possible mods done by Vac...
this is the piece which Vac posted in his thread of Noob Pam 127E...
the crystal and the whole watch is just awesome....I have owned many gens including Panerais and I must say Vac's Pam 127 feels as gen as it could be....I just can't feel even a tiny bit that Vac modded 127 is rep...it screams just gen...
