ok it is my first Pam and I am not a Pam fan so I got the 21J movement. This watch has the power reserve module which I find kind of interesting. I thought when you pull the crown out on the 21J the first pull was wind, the second the date, and the third move the hands? This watch only has wind at the first and hand movement at the second pull out of the crown. Therefore to set the date you must wind and wind the hands (got really sore fingers as I had to go a whole month!) Ii assume this is normal for this movement. (all my other reps are swiss eta so I am a bit in the dark). i did some searching and Ziggy called this something like a non-auto date movement?

I will say even at 40mm diameter this watch seems bigger than my Rollies and Breitlings. I think I am going to get a few more Pams...

Not sure about those 40mm case 21j power reserves but I know the 44mm versions like the 222 had the date set button at 8:00 on side of case.

I had one of these.

there should be a push-button date adjustment thing at the 8 o'clock corner of the watch, push it w/ a pen or toothpick and walah, the date flips to the next one.

be very careful though, these have been know to start moving very quickly when they are overcharged.

Eureka and thank you! I thought the 8 oclock button was something faux and I didn't want to go pushing things if not sure. Oh well I am a boobie newbie. This forum is great. It has saved me allot of money and is a great educational source of info. Every purchase I have made is because of everyone's input. Up to 4 watches and still have room for more in the 8 space winder I ordered from Eboy  Hope my marriage survives this addiction. Got the father in law supporting the bug as well...

And yes team Disco is going to rock this year with Ivan and big Georgie! We should see Lance Armstrong in the support vehicle allot this year as well. Very surreal
