Eons ago I bought a 47mm Slytech chrono off Tony (formally of WE) when he was on iOffer. Here's a picture of that watch:
At 47mm, it was huge but I loved that watch. I wore it to the gym and took it into the pool. Then, if you'll notice the hours subdial at 6 o'clock, the hand began to drift, following the big hour hand. Rep repair guys were rare those days and it eventually bothered me so much I sold the watch.
Having a desire to revisit some of my old favorites, but not wanting the 47mm size again, I researched the 243 and decided to pick up an H Factory model. Yes, I know the Noob 243L V2 is a little better, but all that's macro stuff and the H Factory was about $100 less.
You've seen the macros and read excellent reviews by ALE and others, so I'll just post a few pictures and be done with it. Pictures were taken with my iPhone 5 in the iCamera App.
I know the lume is not as "gen" as on the Noob, but it was stronger and more to my liking. I charge it for 60 seconds next to a compact florescent bulb and can read the time at 5:00 a.m.; good enough for me.
Personally, I'd rather there not be a cyclops.
I see a few specks of dirt and dust.
Wristie:
It wears comfortably with the snug and secure rubber band.
But, if you look at the spring bar (not really a spring bar) at the bottom of the wristie, you can see it peeking out on the left. It slides out like this but thankfully hasn't fallen out. Is there some way to prevent this?
