So what do we think of this 113 and what are the flaws?
Not a PAM expert by any means but do LOVE the few I have (111H & 029)
I have always had a cruch on the the 113 - a thing for white dials I guess

it's a old dial and the seconds @ 9 sub dial markers are incorrect and the sub dial should be recessed. no one has a recessed sub dial but i have one from ruby that has the markers correctly located. i don't think it is available anymore and i would sell you mine but my wife would kick my ass. lmao

also he is just stating it is a 113. it has an h series case back and a brushed crown guard. i have no idea if that is correct. mine is an 113e with a polished crown guard and it is correct. maybe one of the pam experts will come along and tell us.

hope this helps,

hk

even with the flaws if you really like it you should get it.. I bought this same model in a broken state from a member. Fixed it now waiting to get a cannon pin remover so I can do the pin mod.

hmm I just looked at mine and the sub-dial is recessed on it too..I don't know if that is good or bad, doesnt really matter to me.

Pics, cybee? If yours has a recessed seconds dial, that would be the first one I've ever seen. Please post some pics!

i had a 113, and it did not have a recessed dial. i am not sure those even exist in the rep world.

maybe I am confused and unclear. Are you guys referring to the 'small hand' on the sub-dial being recessed or the whole dial. I think I may be confusing a recessed sub-hand with something else. Mine is just a cheapo version, nothing rare I'm sure.

look very closely at the close up shot of the 113e sub dial i posted. it is very hard to see but if you look at the 9 to 12 area you will see a line just at the outside of the markers. the sub dial it's self is recessed below the top level of the dial. it is slight and hard to see but it is there. i hope i explained it well enough for you to understand. it was the best way i knew to explain it.

oh now I see what you mean. No mine is just flat. I really like the sunken sub-dial but now I have another reason to not like my rep.

Thanks for pointing that out hk..I don't think I would have noticed it.

No reason to dislike your 113, cybee.

None of the rep 113 dials have it, so no worries. :D

The closest person to make a proper and 'correct' 113 dial would be DSN these days. Do not expect the updated 113 dial version to come out of standard GZ rep factories, the current one is close enough, and that's what only matters to them.

So far DSN hasn't been interested in making a 113 dial with sunken sec subdial, I for one had asked him number of times in the last few years.

Who knows if there's enough interest at the moment he may change his mind :)

One can only hope...

Let me repeat it again:

THERE ARE NO PAM113 REP DIALS WITH SUNKEN SECOND HAND SUBDIAL AVAILABLE!

I wish people actualy read the previous posts before they decide to reply.

BABOLA - Down boy, down.

I was just confirming what you said...as an owner of a current 113 dial I can give other people confirmation of what you "state".

Easy there grasshopper...

I'll put this down to the nature of posting on Web forums, which are sometimes not as easy to get the intended tone of the post.
