PAM 113 - How unhappy will i be?

Hi All,

I want to get a white face PAM (my first PAM) and decided I really like the white face. Silix, and others, have a cheap one and an expensive one.
How unhappy will I be with the cheap version:

For the extra $125 he has this one:

I am wondering if the cheap one will turn out to be a complete disappointment? At issue, is the fact that at work I wear everything from a cheap Seiko to a rep Breitling to a Gen Rolex. no one ever notices or asks about them. So i am not worried about how close to gen, i am more worried about it feeling cheap. I expect to replace the strap, so will the sub $100 do?

To be honest I'd grab an H-fac or Noob of this one. Can't be much more in the cost department.

Cheap version is very inaccurate, bad cg and wrong movement. Poor quality. But it's the cheapest 113 in the market...

If you want a white dial cheap and good quality, considere KW 561 and KW 563 for sale on Ryan site:

I'd go for the 561 too. For some reason, I struggle to like white faced PAM's as much as other models. Good luck with the choice tho

If you're set on a white PAM and you don't want to regret it later, get a very good watch to start with. Either the noob 113 or alternatively the relatively new PAM499.

I can speak for the quality of the noob 113 O series. As per Ale's review, it is indeed a rep worth mentioning when it comes to pan reps. It's substantial and reliable, it really has nothing on that canal St copy which feels like wearing a watch made out aluminum cans. I think one of the TDs even have that thing on special. My 113 says hello:

I totally agree, I have a 563 and it's a great watch, go for it if you want to save a few bucks.

Thanks for the responses. I figured that would be the answer I got. oh well, it is only money.

I will do some research and probably return with more questions.
