So a Pam113 i purchased July last year from Andrew at trusty stopped working last week. As my day to day watch i was naturally devastated as i'm a bit of a noob to the rep world and am unsure what the problem is nor what to do next!?

If anyone has any advice, or experience with a manual wind, your opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

P

^ more information is needed if you want some tips. If you just want it fixed ASAP, contact one of the modders on this site that takes watches from your country.

So yes essentially one morning I put it on and saw it had stopped, as I was rushing to work I thought sod it i'll wind it when I get on the tube. I wound it fully and nothing happened. The visible balance wheel does move slightly when i knock it on the "pam" of my hand but only a fraction.

I have contacted the dealer and hes asked me to send it back for repair but it took so long to get it in the first place that im not so keen on that option.

Appreciate the replies guys!

How much did you pay for the watch , what movement does it have? A UNITAS 6497-2?

So no advice or diagnosis?

I had an issue with my PAM000 brand new about a month ago. Everything else was working fine like changing the time and so on, just that for some reason it wouldn't start despite winding it for quite a bit. However I unscrewed the caseback a little and it suddenly started working, maybe something trapped the balance wheel and now it is fixed. Maybe you could try this since it worked for me and my 000 has been a workhorse eversince :) good luck and keep us posted

so i know this is old now but i sent it off to the dealer, it came back perfect and pretty sure he cleaned it before adding a new case protector. Anyway one month passed and it happened again. I contacted him and he once again said to tap in on my hand. The second hand fell off. I know have a pam113 Oseries with an accidental in-dial floating second hand.

Hi Pam113, sounds like a really annoying situation. I went through a very similar story with a 448 that I had bought from a TD here. In the end after returning the watch twice I returned watch for a last time and asked for full refund and accepted this is sadly part of the risk of buying a rep watch. Sorry to not have a more constructive solution.
