I winded a little bit once I received my watch and it's lasted 8 hours. Stopped around 1230am when I'm sleeping. Woke up 8am and found out that even tho its fully stop but the sec movement is still moving round and round. Is It normal?

I turn back and look inside my 6497 movement. The circle just around the dagger it's sill moving.

When it's says 40-50 winds for full 50+ hours. What does wind means? Is it one turn using index finger and thumb at the CG area consider 1 wind? When I turn it like 20 times. I felt the turning has resistance and when I turn it's has 2 click sound and once I let i go. It slightly turn back a little bit?

I've no idea what is the limit of the winding.

Any kind soul can help?

Appreciate!

The limit of the winding varies from watch to watch, although it shouldn't vary much because the spring is a fixed length, it's just that the way we wind affects how much the crown actually "travels" or rotates. You just wind until you feel resistance (the crown rotates back). There is no correct number of winds.

I don't understand your statement "found out that even tho its fully stop but the sec movement is still moving round and round". Do you mean the hour and minute hand do not move anymore from 12:30 but the second hand on the subdial at 9 is still moving? If so, that is very strange behavior. You should have your watch checked.

It sounds like you are saying the hour and minute hand have stopped, but the second hand is still moving. I suspect a canon pinion issue. This is really a very easy fix. A $10 part and 20 minutes labor for a decent modder.

Yes correct. The hour and min stopped while the second hand at "9" o clock is moving when I woke up. And I turn around to the back case to see the movement of the dagger area. It's still moving . I re-wind this morning and it's works perfectly fine now. Anw I just received this watch yesterday. I'll see how it's goes . Now currently It working fine. If anything goes wrong I'll update here again. Appreciate and thanks!
