PAM 111N Noob Sub Dial Issue?

I just received my first rep, the NOOB 111N. It came modded and movement serviced but when I pull the crown all the way out to set the seconds sub dial still moves...is this normal or do I already have a movement flaw on a brand new serviced watch?
I know I am new and looked at all the threads regarding the 111 and could find anything relating to my issue but hopefully this knowledgeable thread can help.

Thanks, AP Boy

That movement doesn't hack so yes, it's normal.

Why the hell would you pay to have that movement serviced anyway?

why wouldnt you?

That movement is pretty much bullet proof and already comes nice and clean form the factory. I'm willing to bet it wasn't even serviced, just delivered as it came from the factory, you won't be able to tell anyway cause it's as good as serviced.
And why would you pay to service it when you can buy a whole new movement for less than the service cost?

Ive been looking for 6497 movements on ebay but they obviously dont have the "offine panerai"

do you get them from TD's or something?

After concern answered and fears alleviated I installed a Micah Mauser ammo strap i have. What do you think? Much more comfortable then the rep asso.

Shame that some might think that a RWI trusted modder with section here would not even touch a movement they recommended I service and charge me for. I thought this place was to educate and guide people to keep from getting screwed. JAT

That was an excellent choice for a first rep AP Boy, the 111N was my first also, the only problem IMO with that rep is that it sets the bar pretty high for all the other Non-Pam reps out there!

Looks good! I like that strap. Having a movement serviced is a personal choice. Some of us will agree. Some won't. The important thing is that you are happy with the watch. Enjoy!

My next PAM will be the 127 or "Fiddy" since I have little chance of ever getting a Gen version @ todays market price. I also will be getting that correctly modded by Marvin. Thanks for all the nice comments and help RWI.

Then on to the AP market...hopefully eventually a FC when they get the case right.

same here, my first rep too. why was it push so hard as a super duper rep. granted it is well built and a work horse, but it is also my biggest regret of all 10 plus super rep watch that I have purchased so far. The 111 and 112 is the only Pam watches over $200 that I can tell it's a rep if someone is trying to front it as a gen on the bay. the most accurate, I think not..

That doesn't mean it's a bad rep. It means you've been educated.
