I'm newer to these boards, and initially joined to grab a couple reps to help me decide between the different Luminor case shapes before going gen. I was really nervous about throwing down the cash only to find I couldn't pull off the 1950's style, or if I went the other way that I'd regret not going with the bolder case style, and figured this would be a safer way to validate.
I've since picked up a 328/312 and just received a new 111. I am so impressed with both of these reps, I mean absolutely stunning and both keep better time than many of my Swiss gens. I totally didn't expect that. I'm really glad I went this route and while I love the 111, something about the 312–that gorgeous dial and the 1950's style–just clicks for me. Fabulous watch and fairly certain that's my next gen. I did spend a fair amount of time reading up on all the excellent resources here, especially the PAM guides etc... Kudos to everyone who took the time to document it all, insanely helpful, so thanks a ton.
Anyway, some pics of the 111 that just landed yesterday.
