Help! Just got my PAM 111 v3 Noob today and it seems to be dead on arrival. I wound it but there is no response from the movement through the display back nor is the seconds hand moving.

Did I really just receive a lemon or am I doing Something wrong?

Make sure you're winding it clockwise and if no luck, give it a tap on your palm, see if it comes to life.. Wish you luck

Well I smacked it a little and it started working. I suppose that's normal for a watch that's been in transit for a couple weeks?

Might be. Have it serviced. Maybe it needs a little cleaning/lubing.

Well that's not very encouraging! Did you send it back for replacement?

not yet, contacted the seller and he asked me to send it back for him to fix the prob..but imo if you can find local watchsmith to fix it is better, don't want to risk though the customs..but if there's no other option maybe just send it back..

like kulubot said maybe beed some cleaning or lubing..

You don´t have to tap it, you have to wind it. You´ll see it´s working

don't send back. Won't get your watch back for a few months. Find a watchsmith and have it looked at.
